How it plays

The team wants to shed all 50 cards onto two piles โ€“ each pile going up or down, with the direction freely chosen card by card. Talking about numbers is forbidden, but hints ("Leave the left pile to me!") are fair game. If every card is placed, the whole team wins together.

What it trains

The cooperative short version of the bestseller trains number comparison, joint planning and nonverbal communication: helping well means thinking about what the others might be holding. Defeats hit the team instead of any single child โ€“ ideal for sensitive losers.

Community voices: The "Quick & Easy" version is widely regarded in reviews as the perfect entry into The Game series; tempo and team spirit earn the praise. Avid players later graduate to the more demanding original โ€“ the short version stays in the travel bag regardless.
Our tip for parents: A low-threshold entry into cooperative games; one round takes less than ten minutes.

Especially good for

  • Quick family rounds in between
  • Kids who don't cope well with competitive pressure
  • Pocket format, small budget

Less suitable for

  • Anyone seeking deep complexity โ€“ it is deliberately lean
  • Very large groups
